Quiet Desperation was formed in the Spring of 2023 in Salt Lake City, UT by mrforged. The band has gone through many personnel changes before arriving at its current configuration with Sanjeev Raman and Joshua Boyette on guitars; Bruce Gunn on bass; Nate Gardner on drums; Stephen Smith on saxophone, percussion, and keyboards; Melissa Cecala on vocals; Devon Geppelt on vocals; and mrforged on keyboards.
The band made its debut at the Metro in Salt Lake City and has followed that performance with an even greater show featuring animations projected on a huge screen behind them at the Pearl On Main in Midvale. In 2025, the band will be adding a laser and light show to the mix and is preparing to play all over the Wasatch front.
